Spring is puppy and kitten season, and this influx of animals creates an incredible strain on the Humane Society of Fairfax County.
Missy was brought to us in bad shape – famished, lonely, and just days away from giving birth. Eight weeks later, it wasn’t hard finding homes for Missy’s six happy and well-adjusted puppies. But we were presented with a problem that we face every day: finding homes for adult animals like Missy.
Last spring, we saw a large increase in the number of homeless cats and dogs - especially puppies and kittens.
Spaying and neutering is our number one defense against our local animal overpopulation epidemic. That’s why we really need your support for these critical programs that help save lives.
Can you find it in your heart to send a much-needed gift to our 2008 Spring Campaign? Your donation will help us care for – and find forever families for – homeless and helpless dogs and cats, like Missy.
Your donation today also helps us reunite lost pets with their families, teach humane care to children and adults, promote spaying and neutering, and so much more!
Your support will literally save the lives of hundreds of animals. Please make a generous donation today. On behalf of the animals, thank you for your friendship and caring!
